Project Advisors

Our Project Advisors are experienced, high-calibre industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives who volunteer their time and expertise to project-specific, mission-critical tasks related to the building of critical water  and renewable power infrastructure for the disadvantaged people in developing communities.

Our Project Advisors are volunteers who have worked for and/or consulted Fortune 500 companies and the world’s most recognizable global brands. Since 2008, Terra Firma and its volunteers have delivered more than US $3 million in capacity-building professional services.

Our Advisors are essential to solving the global water (and power) crisis. Project Terra Firma of Canada and Operation Water jointly developed a Technical Advisory Board (TAB), which provides strategic and project-level financial and technical advice with the objective of developing critical, sustainable water (and power) infrastructure for the world’s disadvantaged poor. Please contact us to express interest in joining our Project Advisory Board.

Global Water Ambassadors

We are engaging the next generation of leaders. This is an open invitation to high school students who share the courage, foresight, and generosity to affect dramatic humanitarian impact.

We recognize the importance of addressing the global water crisis each year on March 22nd, which is recognized as “World Water Day”. We commemorate “World Water Day” by raising awareness of those living without access to safe, clean water through panel discussions, social media challenges, and special events at universities and high schools across the globe.

We seek to engage the next generation of leaders. Global Water Ambassadors (GWAs) acknowledge the water crisis each year by running a “water challenge” at their local high schools and by posting their event and experiences on social media. Funds raised by the events cover direct project costs. GWAs are invited to participate in our annual update each year, focusing on specific water infrastructure sites that they have directly funded by their efforts.

If you are interested in becoming a GWA, then please contact us and tell us about yourself. We will gladly tell you more about our application process.
